BMC 2015-2017 Mustang Mongoose Performance Hood Unpainted
The Mongoose is an American made performance hood for your 2015-2017 Ford Mustang. Created to bring air in through the center scoop, expel heat from the vents, and add over 2 inches of clearance for virtually any supercharger on the market today. No need to lower your engine for fitment.
Fitment
This all American hood is made to fit on your 2015-2017 Ford Mustang, Mustang GT, and Ecoboost.
It will NOT fit the GT350 and GT350R.
Functionality:
Ram Air hood. The Mongoose hood has a built-in Ram Air Kit which is fully functional as cool air enters from the open front air scoop and is directed to the air box location.
Heat Extraction. The hood vents are fully functional and work as heat extractors. The fiberglass heat extractor (included) vent grille are removable and can be painted separate from the hood to add a unique look.
Clearance. Hood adds 2 inches of clearance over stock for those wanting to go big.
Material:
Fiberglass. The Mongoose Mustang hood is made of hand laid fiberglass, finished on both the top and bottom of the hood with smooth gel coat.
Metal Reinforcements. There is a reinforced metal latch & hinge plate for additional safety. The integrated stainless mesh grille completes the look.
Installation:
Direct Replacement. Installation and prep instructions. This hood is made to be a direct bolt on using OEM Hardware. These hoods install easily and securely using OEM hardware and manufacturer accessories.
Hood Pins. Hood pins are highly recommended but not included for all aftermarket hoods. As with all fiberglass hoods; the Mongoose hood requires prep, prime, and paint.
Carbon Fiber Heat Vents. Add a kiss of carbon fiber to your hood.
